Q. What is the minimum
age for rental:
A. 21
years is the minimum. 75 years the maximum. The licence must
have been held for two years, be non provisional and valid
for the duration of the trip.
Q.How many drivers
are included:
A. Additional
drivers are permitted free of charge.
Q.When are the
depots open:
A. Depots
are open as detailed below:
Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth & Sydney: (latest pick up is 4pm)
• 1 April 2020 - 31 March 2021 - 8am to 4.00pm seven days a week
Adelaide, Alice Springs, Cairns & Hobart: (latest pick up is 4pm)
• 1 April 2020 - 31 August 2020 - 8am to 4.00pm (Monday to Friday)
• 1 September 2020 - 31 March 2021 - 8am to 4.00pm seven days a week
Broome & Darwin: (latest pick up is 4pm)
• 1 April 2020 - 31 May 2020 - Branch CLOSED
• 1 June 2020 - 19 December 2020 - 8am to 4.00pm seven days a week (Broome closed on Sundays)
• 20 December 2020 - 31 March 2021 - Branch CLOSED
Q. Minimum rental:
A. 7 days is the minimum rental
period. During certain special events and over the Christmas
period the minimum rental is 10 days.
Q. Do I need to
leave a security deposit:
A. A
security bond of AUD $8,000 must be left when you pick up the
Motorhome. This must be made by credit card and is fully refundable
when you return the vehicle clean, undamaged and with a tank
full of fuel. You can reduce the bond to either AUD $2,500 or
AUD $500 by taking out excess reduction options.
Q. Can I bring my
pets:
A. No.
Pets are not permitted in the Motorhome.
Q. Can I tow anything
or store things on the roof:
A. No.
The Motorhomes are not equipped for towing or for carrying
things on the roof.
