Q. What is the minimum
age for rental:
A. 21
years is the minimum. The licence must
have been held for two years, be non provisional and valid
for the duration of the trip.
Q.How many drivers
are included:
A. Additional
drivers are permitted free of charge.
Q.When are the
depots open:
A. 01 April to 31 August -
8am to 4pm - Monday to Friday
01 September to 31 March -
8am to 4pm - 7 days a week
Our staff enjoy a holiday as much as you do and all our branches are closed on Public Holidays including Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
Q. Minimum rental:
A. 7
days is the minimum rental period. During certain special events
and over the Christmas period the minimum rental is 10 days.
Q. Do I need to
leave a security deposit:
A. A
security bond of NZD $7,500 must be left when you pick up the
Motorhome. This must be made by credit card and is fully refundable
when you return the vehicle clean, undamaged and with a tank
full of fuel. You can reduce the bond to either NZD $2,500 or
NZD $250 by taking out excess reduction options.
Q. Can I bring my
pets:
A. We believe fur friends make a road trip better. Pet dogs are allowed to travel in Apollo RVs with written permission from Apollo at the time of booking. There is a NZD $200 pet cleaning fee, (excluding service animals). Service dogs are permitted in all RVs.
Q. Can I tow anything
or store things on the roof:
A. No.
The Motorhomes are not equipped for towing or for carrying
things on the roof.
