Q. What is the minimum
age for rental:
A. 21
years is the minimum / 75 the maximum age. You must also
have held a full licence for a minimum of 2 years and the
licence must be in English (or if not accompanied by an international
licence.)
Q.How many drivers
are included:
A. One additional
driver is included in the rental rates.
Q.When are the
depots open:
A. Motorhomes
can be Picked Up Mon – Fri : 12:00 – 16:00.
Sat 11:00 – 13:00 / Dropped Off Mon – Fri : 09:00 – 11:00. Sat 08:00 – 10:00
Times may vary slightly depending on the date of the rental.
Q. Minimum rental:
A. Ranges from 3 to 10 days depending on pick up depot and date of rental.
Q. Do I need to
leave a security deposit:
A. USD $1,500
is charged to your card when you pick up the vehicle, refunded
when the vehicle is returned on time, clean and undamaged.
Q. Can I bring my
pets:
A. No.
Pets are not allowed inside the Motorhome.
Q. Can I tow anything
or store things on the roof:
A. No.
The Motorhomes are not equipped for towing or for carrying
things on the roof.
Q. Am I entitled
to a discount if I take rentals from both Australia and America
for example:
A. Consecutive Motorhome / Campervan rentals can be combined to qualify for a long-term discount rate. Rentals in the United States of America, Australia and New Zealand on Star RV, Apollo, Cheapa Campa and Hippie Camper can be combined to obtain a long-term discount rate, providing travel is within a 3 month period.
