Q. What is the minimum
age for rental:
A. 21 years with a valid drivers
licence.
Q.How many drivers
are included:
A. One
free second driver is included in the rental.
Q.When are the
depots open:
A. Vehicles can be collected at our rental stations from Monday to Saturday between 8.30am and 3pm local time. (on Sundays at selected stations until 1pm) - Transfers are available until 1.00pm.
Drop Off's are available Monday to Saturday (and Sunday for the Vancouver / Whitehorse locations), 08:30am to 12pm (noon), inspection ready. Sufficient time should be allowed for packing suitcases and cleaning vehicles. Rental extensions (late returns) must have prior approval from Fraserway RV Rentals.
Late returns are not allowed without Fraserway's permission. If the vehicle is returned late without Fraserway's permission, overtime hours are charged up to a maximum of 4 times the daily retail rate.
Q. Minimum rental:
A. 7
days is the minimum rental period.
Q. Do I need to
leave a security deposit:
A. An
imprint is taken of your credit card at the time of rental.
If you do not take out the CDR then you may have the entire
amount of the deductible blocked on your credit card.
Q. Can I bring my
pets:
A. You
may be allowed to bring pets on a request basis, let us know.
Q. Can I tow anything
or store things on the roof:
A. No.
The Motorhomes are not equipped for towing or for carrying
things on the roof.
Q. What
is included in the daily rate:
A. As
well as the vehicle itself, the daily rate also includes standard
insurance with an excess of CAD $7500, free additional
drivers, selected transfers and maps.
Q. Can
I do a one way:
A. Yes.
A minimum rental of 7 days is required.
Q. What
is the Preparation fee:
A. The
CAD $100 + Tax fee is mandatory and covers
the initial propane fill, toilet chemicals, fresh water and
sewer hoses, rubber gloves and two rolls of biodegradable toilet
paper.
Q. Do
I have to return the vehicle full of fuel:
A. The
Motorhome will be provided to you full and must be returned
full also.
Q. Can
I leave suitcases at the depot:
A. You
may but they are left at your own risk.
Q. Is
smoking permitted:
A. No,
smoking is not allowed.
Q. Insurance
information:
A. Fraserway
maintains liability coverage on all its rental vehicles to
a maximum of CAD $5,000,000 for any bodily injury and
property damage liability claims arising from the operation
or use of its rental vehicles, provided all safety instructions
as recommended by FRASERWAY have been followed. Premiums
for this basic public liability coverage are included in
all rental rates, which also include premiums for collision
insurance and comprehensive insurance with a deductible of
CAD $7,500 per occurrence. All coverage and waivers are subject
to the expressed terms of the contract and of the applicable
motor vehicle insurance contract.
Q. Collision
Deductible Reducer:
A. A
collision damage reducer is available for CDR $40 per
day to a maximum of CAD $750 per rental and
provides the following benefits:
CDR coverage reduces the renter's responsibility for collision
damages from CAD $7,500 to CAD $750 per occurrence.
CDR coverage reduces the renter’s responsibility for
comprehensive damage (e.g. windshield, break-in and theft)
from CAD $7,500.00 to CAD $500.00 per occurrence Renter please
note: A new windshield will cost between CAD $500 and CAD
$800 depending on the type and model year of the vehicle.
CDR coverage will guarantee the renter a replacement vehicle
when the renter's vehicle becomes undrivable due to damage,
even if the renter is at fault. The replacement vehicle will
be delivered to a location agreed upon by FRASERWAY and the
renter and will be dispatched within 24 hours from the time
the renter notifies FRASERWAY that the renter's vehicle has
become undrivable. Delivery will be limited to a province /
state, which borders on the province in which the renter took
delivery of the renter's vehicle.
FRASERWAY will not deliver 27ft and 29ft Motorhomes to the
Yukon, Northwest Territories and Alaska. Any expenses for accommodation,
food etc. are the renter's responsibility, if damage is the
renter's fault.
Damages and deductibles are subject to applicable taxes.
In case the CDR Insurance is not purchased, Fraserway reserves
the right to block the full amount of the deductible on the
customer's credit card.
