Q. What is the minimum
age for rental ?
A. 21 years is the minimum.
For driver's over the age of 75 years a medical certificate
is required stating that you are fit and capable to drive
for the duration of the rental.
Q. How many drivers
are included ?
A. the main driver is included - additional can be added at time of pick up for an additional fee ( Free if the Bundle or Inclusive Pack Option is taken).
Q. When are the
depots open:
A. The opening hours vary for the rental depots depending on what time of the year you pick up or drop off your vehicle. All clients are requested to arrive at the rental depot no later than 30 minutes prior to closing time. Maui requests that clients collecting or returning their Vehicle attend the relevant Maui branch by 3:30pm on the relevant day.
Q. Minimum rental ?
A. 5 to 20 days depending on choice of vehicle, hire dates and also pick up & drop off locations.
Q. Do I need to
leave a security deposit ?
A. A
security bond of AUD $7,500 must be left when you pick up the
Motorhome. This is fully refundable when you return the vehicle
clean, undamaged and with a tank full of fuel. You can reduce
the bond by taking out excess reduction options.
Q. Can I bring my
pets ?
A. Pets or other animals are not permitted inside the rental vehicles, with the exception of registered guide dogs for visually impaired passengers. Maui reserves the right to charge the Customer's
credit card a cleaning fee in the amount of AUD $250 for
any animal related cleaning.
Q. Can I tow anything
or store things on the roof ?
A. No.
The Motorhomes are not equipped for towing or for carrying
things on the roof.

the Campers have Awnings ?

Q. What is included in the standard rate ?
A. Unlimited kilometres,
Vehicle insurance (excess applies),

Q. What is the storage
capacity in the vehicles - can we bring our suitcases ?
A. Maui’s
fleet offer storage compartments, however maui suggest using
soft luggage instead of suitcases.
Q. What's included in a
Maui Motorhome ?
A. maui
motorhomes feature a gas stove, fridge, microwave and even
a toilet and shower in most models. We suggest that you pack
your gear into soft bags instead of suitcases as they take
up less room and can easily fit into your motorhome's storage
compartments.
Apartment style kitchen equipment includes Plates, bowls and cups, wine and drinking glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils, bottle/can opener, mixing bowls, colander, saucepans, frying pans, chopping board, gas kettle, electric jug, coffee plunger, toaster and tea towel.
Freshly laundered linen and bedding is also supplied including
Pillow, pillowcase, sheet and towel per person and one doona (duvet) per bed.
Other useful items such as Pegs, dustpan / brush, fire extinguisher, bucket/hose, broom, matches, ice cube tray, clothes hangers, toilet chemicals and floor safe in all vehicles.
