Q. What is the minimum
age for rental:
A. 21
years is the minimum. For drivers over the age of 75 years
a medical certificate is required stating that you are fit
and capable to drive for the duration of the rental.
Q. How many drivers
are included:
A. An
additional driver can be added at NZD $2 per day (maximum of NZD $30 per hire).
Q.When are the
depots open:
A. Mon
to Sun 9:00am – 3:30pm - Pick up / drop off takes place at
any time during office hours.
Q. Minimum rental:
A. 5 days is the minimum rental
period. During certain peak periods and for one way journeys,
10 days is the minimum.
Q. Do I need to
leave a security deposit:
A. A
security bond of NZD $7,500 must be left when you pick up the
Motorhome. This is fully refundable when you return the vehicle
clean, undamaged and with a tank full of fuel. You can reduce
the bond by taking out excess reduction options.
Q. Can I bring my
pets:
A. Pets or other animals are not permitted inside the rental vehicles, with the exception of registered guide dogs for visually impaired passengers.
Q. Can I tow anything
or store things on the roof:
A. No.
The Motorhomes are not equipped for towing or for carrying
things on the roof.
