New Jersey State Rental Security Fee:
USD $5 per night (max USD $140) applies to all Pick ups at New York City station.

Pets:
Pets are allowed in our motorhomes. There is no charge to bring your pet, however, a cleaning fee or damage fee may be applied at return if the motorhome is brought back in unclean condition or because of the pet or any damages caused to the interior because of the pet.

Priority A.M. Departure (PAD) Program:

• PAD locations: Restricted to the following locations: Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, Orlando & San Francisco based on capacity .
• Hotel restrictions: PAD is restricted solely to those hotels designated as PAD hotels mentioned in the Transfer Information Area.
• Note: PAD does not include the Standard Transfer Fee. Clients will still need to pay this transfer fee.
• Hotel notification: Client or agent must inform El Monte RV of PAD hotel no fewer than 7 days prior to vehicle takeover date. If you fail to notify less than 7 days prior to takeover, client will either have to accept standard transfer, or provide their own transfer at their own cost. No Exceptions.
• Contact numbers: PAD Transfer instructions. A pre-recorded message is available at 1-800-337-2199* which instructs at what time and at which entrance clients should wait for transfer shuttle: It is recommended that clients also call 1-800-367-6507* the day before motor home takeover to confirm pick up time and hotel entrance.
• Transfer time: PAD Shuttle generally arrives between 7:15 am - 8:00. PAD transfer may begin as early as 6:45 am. Therefore, it is necessary that clients call 1-800-337-2199 beforehand for exact times.
• PAD surcharge: This option guarantees a departure-ready motor home by 11 am. PAD surcharge is USD $295 per motorhome rental. Please indicate PAD hotel at time of booking. There are no refunds for PAD surcharge if we do not receive PAD hotel information 7 days prior to pick up. No exceptions.

Taxes:
Our prices are excluding tax. Taxes are due on all prepaid and local charges.

For prepaid charges, Partners may select between two options: "Variable tax rate" and "Flat Tax Rate" which allows for a simple, flat 11% across all prepaid charges. Please note - Partners are not able to switch between the two options. Once selected the option is set for the full travel year.

New Jersey Security Fee: Mandatory USD $5 per night, Max USD $140 per rental. Paid on pick up. Colorado State Rental Tax: Mandatory USD $2.23 per night Max USD $66.90 per rental for all pickups at Denver station. Paid on pick up.

One Way Rentals:
One-Way Rentals are on request only - No Free Sale. Prices are in US dollars. One-way fee is determined by where the desired Pickup and Return locations’ row and column intersect. For example, one-way fee from SFO to SLC is $375; from MIA to SEA it is $775.

Import / Export Fee:
We try to confirm all One-way requests. However, there are times when the direction of the drop or time of year does not make sense in terms of fleet utilization. Therefore, El Monte RV will consider accepting a specific one-way request for the standard one-way fee PLUS up to an additional $3,000 to import or export the motor home to or from the location needed.

Security Deposit:
 - A USD $1,500 security deposit is required at the time of departure
 - We require that the deposit be guaranteed by a major non-debit credit card such as Visa, MasterCard or American Express with sufficient credit balance to cover this amount
 - We do not accept ATM/debit cards such as Check Cards, Visa debit cards or pre-paid credit cards
 - We do not accept Cash or Traveler’s Checks, Stored Value/Pre-paid cards or gift cards
 - The security deposit is not charged on the customer’s credit card on pick-up, but rather the amount is ‘held’ in the form of an authorization; Upon return, provided that the rental vehicle is returned clean inside, undamaged and on time with any fines paid this ‘hold’ is removed.

Flex Rates:
Elmonte's Daily Rental Rates are know as 'Flex Rates' . These give you the very best available price for the motorhome you want to rent. If you book early and there are plenty of motorhomes available, you will pay a much lower price. If you book closer to departure date or book for a high demand period then the rate will be higher. This is a similar system to that used by airlines.

No mileage is included in the Flex rates. Choose from the available mileage options above. Once booked and confirmed, should you need to change, the rate will be re-calculated using the most current Flex rate and compared to the existing flex rate. The higher rate will prevai. Changing party size or adding pre-paid items does not consitute a change. Flex rate valid for maximum 35 days and on day 36 a new Flex rate will apply.
